The Soul I Adore!

A drop has fallen,
A drop shall fall
Temptations may flicker,
But am waiting for your call.
The whim without prayers,
The sea without shore,
The soul enticing,
The soul I adore.
You are the sun to my darkness,
You are the bloom to my rose,
You are the rain to my clouds
And the rhyme to my prose.
Moments got stretched
And frozen for a while,
For I saw the vista,
The vista of your smile.
When the darkness grew darker
When the loom was high
When despair enveloped me,
I found you nearby.
You held me tight
You held me quiet
Creepy were the shadows
But tranquilizing was your site.
For I have spoken my heart
And the temptations may flicker,
But was that all I had?
I wonder! I wonder!
From antecedents to culmination,
What I lack is peroration
But yes you belong to me
And that`s beyond any approbation.
